Five years. Four companies. One throughline: shipping for measurable outcomes.
A full account of roles, responsibilities, and real results: the kind you'd want to verify in a reference call.
Dalvoy
EdTech / consumer product. Gurugram, India.
Building Dalvoy from a blank canvas: defining the product surface, core flows, and visual language end-to-end. Owning the full design loop from problem framing through shipped UI on a fast-moving early-stage team.
- Designed the product 0 → 1: set the foundational interaction model, information architecture, and visual system from scratch.
- Shipped to a real audience: the product is live in the wild with 1 Lakh+ downloads at 12K DAU / 94K MAU, and growing.
- Launched Dalvoy Shorts, a short-form feature that lifted both retention and engagement.
- Operating as the design lead on the team, partnering directly with founders and engineering on product direction and trade-offs.
SpeakX
EdTech / English-learning for Indian consumers. Gurugram, India.
Designed core growth and retention surfaces for SpeakX's English-learning product. Owned the full activation funnel, paid checkout, and built the company's first design system, moving the team from one-off Sketch files to a token-based Figma library shared with engineering.
- Onboarding redesign. Audited a leaky first-run flow where new users dropped before completing the first lesson. Redesigned the interaction model around progressive disclosure and contextual rewards. +6.01% D1 retention, meaningful lift in new-user activation.
- Premium checkout funnel. Rebuilt the paid upgrade flow end-to-end: reduced steps, added trust cues, clarified pricing hierarchy. +38.8% paid conversion.
- Exit-intent retention. Designed contextual popups triggered by behavioural signals, not timers. −4% churn, +4% D1 retention.
- Live Classes experience. Designed a simulated live workshop format to deepen engagement. +3.5% session time, measurable D7 retention lift.
- Design system (0 → 1). Built and scaled SpeakX's first design system. Migrated the team from Sketch to Figma, standardised 80+ components, set up token-based theming, cutting engineering handoff time significantly.
Vaipra Tech Solutions
Product & services. Cross-platform delivery. Bengaluru, India · Remote.
Scaled design across a multi-product portfolio, owning systems work, user research, and motion patterns across consumer surfaces. Hands-on contributor on flows that needed to ship fast without losing fidelity to the underlying system.
- Scaled design systems across products. Reduced handoff errors by ~15% and accelerated shipping velocity by standardising components and tokens across product teams.
- Led user research cycles. Surveys, moderated testing, and session recordings to inform iteration on key flows. Drove a 7–10% increase in feature adoption on priority surfaces.
- Motion & micro-interactions. Introduced systematic motion patterns that lifted engagement ~10% on priority flows and improved onboarding retention by ~8%.
Mobcoder
Mobile-first product agency. Noida, India.
Foundation years at a mobile-first product agency, partnering with PMs and engineering on client work across mobile and web. Built early instincts around scoping, hand-off discipline, and design QA that I still rely on today.
- Partnered with PM and 3 engineers to scope MVPs and trade off ambition vs. timeline, learning to make sharp prioritisation calls under real delivery pressure.
- Ran design critiques and mentored 2 junior designers: first taste of design leadership and giving structured feedback.
- Led the Figma → Dev handoff process and ran 2 design QA cycles per sprint, embedding quality checks before code shipped.
